Haul & Launch

Crown Boat Yard operates a brand new 88 Ton, state of the art Travel Lift, capable of lifting and moving mono-or multihulls up to 100 feet long, 21 feet beams and weighing up to 80 ton. The boatyard is also conveniently located close to the cargo terminal which makes this boatyard a popular choice for launching vessels shipped to St. Maarten, whereas freight forwarders truck your vessel to the boatyard where it will be unpacked and launched, so you can be on your way.

 

Welding works & fabrication

Best Boat Yard Services N.V., part of Crown Boat Yard, has a fully stocked machine shop, specialized in metal fabrication & welding, along with prop pulling & cutlass bearing replacement.

 

Mechanical Services

With specialists on board in hydraulic and diesel engine installations & repairs.

 

Painting

Crown Boat Yard also provides bottom jobs, fiberglass repairs and topside jobs. Awlgrip Marine Coatings along with other specialist systems are provided for the finest finish to your vessel above or below the waterline.

 

Utilities

Water & electricity (100 & 200 volt) are available when your boat is hauled out.

Chandlery

A fully stocked Island Water World chandlery is available on-site providing all the necessary boatyard materials and a wide range of sailing and fishing necessities including charts, lines, fenders, flares etc.

 

Rigging

The island’s rigging specialists, FKG Rigging, are just a call away and are available to assist with any rigging problems you may have whether it is the removal of a mast components, the repair of a roller furling system or a complete rig replacement.

 

Electronics

KISS Marine are experts in all aspects of marine electronics are available to be called upon to work on any of your yacht’s electrical systems; from installing a VHF radio or fixing an instrument, to a complete rewiring of the entire vessel.

 

Security

Bobby’s Marina has a twenty-four hour security services. The security guards patrol the entire Bobby’s Marina area at all times and also monitor the surveillance cameras throughout the Marina & Boat Yard.  You can contact the security guards at the security booth located in the middle of the parking lot for access to the boat yard as access to the boat yard is closely monitored.
